Escape Room Wisconsin is looking for energetic, outgoing Escape Room Hosts / Game Masters to join our team! This isn't your typical customer service job. You'll be part host, part entertainer, part problem-solver, and part behind-the-scenes mastermind. Every shift brings new teams, new challenges, and new opportunities to create an experience our guests won't forget.

ABOUT ESCAPE ROOM WISCONSIN

Founded in 2014, Escape Room Wisconsin creates immersive adventure experiences where guests step into richly themed rooms and become part of the story. Players must search the room, uncover hidden clues, solve puzzles and riddles, work together, and complete their mission before time runs out. We feature multiple award-winning escape rooms and take pride in creating experiences that challenge teams while giving them a chance to laugh, compete, celebrate, and make memories together. We're proud to be locally and veteran-owned, and we're passionate about providing our guests with an experience that goes far beyond simply playing a game. Our guests come to us for birthday celebrations, date nights, family outings, team-building activities, corporate events, and just a fun night out with friends. As a Game Master, you are a huge part of that experience.

WHAT DOES A GAME MASTER DO?

You're the person who helps bring the experience to life. One minute you're welcoming a group through the door. The next, you're introducing them to their mission, watching their progress from behind the scenes, deciding when a team might need a little help, and celebrating with them when they escape. You'll help guests:

SEARCH THE ROOM

Help create an exciting experience as teams investigate their surroundings, uncover secrets, and discover hidden clues.

SOLVE THE PUZZLES

Monitor teams as they work together to solve puzzles, riddles, and visual clues within our highly themed environments.

ESCAPE THE ROOM

Keep the experience moving and engaging while teams race against the clock to complete their mission.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Welcome guests with energy and enthusiasm and create a great first impression Check in reservations and assist guests with purchases Introduce guests to their escape room adventure Deliver fun and engaging game briefings Serve as the Game Master by monitoring games and providing clues when appropriate Interact with teams and help create an exciting, memorable experience Reset and prepare escape rooms between groups Assist with birthday parties, corporate events, team-building activities, and special events Answer guest questions and help resolve issues quickly and professionally Perform opening and closing responsibilities Restock merchandise, supplies, and game materials Keep the facility clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready Work as part of a team to make sure every guest has an incredible experience

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

IS... Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic Comfortable talking to individuals and groups Confident speaking in front of people Quick-thinking and able to adapt when things don't go according to plan Dependable and responsible Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Passionate about providing outstanding customer service Someone who enjoys entertainment, games, puzzles, or working with people Able to bring positive energy to every shift No escape room experience? No problem! We'll provide comprehensive Game Master training.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 16 years old Previous customer service, hospitality, entertainment, or guest-service experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication skills Ability to stand and move around for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation Dependable attendance Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
