Job Description

- COMPANY
OVERVIEW
- Suite Edge is a leading marketing and business development firm specializing in empowering and growing localized businesses, e-commerce companies, and franchises. We offer a comprehensive suite of software and managed services, guiding our clients to achieve a competitive edge in today's digital landscape. Rather than operating as a conventional ad agency, we act as a dedicated marketing department for our clients while providing strategic growth initiatives and fostering enduring partnerships. - POSITION
OVERVIEW
- We're looking for a seasoned designer whose honed graphic arts skill set shines on the web. The majority of this role involves designing, building, and updating WordPress websites for client companies across the USA — from initial mockups through polished, live sites. Alongside the web work, you'll take on traditional brand identity projects including logos, brand spec documents, brochures, and other print materials. This is a hands-on creative position for someone who takes pride in polished, professional work — and who can carry a brand's identity seamlessly from print to screen. What You'll Do Design website mockups and layouts that translate each client's brand into an effective web experience Build, update, and maintain client websites in WordPress for businesses across the country Design logos and complete brand identities, including brand specification documents Create print materials including brochures, postcards, flyers, and marketing collateral Collaborate with our marketing and strategy teams to deliver cohesive campaigns Edit video content for client marketing (a plus, not a core requirement) What We're Looking For 7-10+ years of professional design experience — a strong portfolio and proven track record matter more to us than a degree Website design and development experience using WordPress , including designing mockups and building and updating functional sites Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite , specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Demonstrated experience with brand identity work — logos, brand spec documents, and print materials such as brochures A portfolio showcasing both web design projects and print/brand work
What Makes You Successful Here:
Client relationships come first. You're confident working directly with clients and make them feel taken care of and in good hands. Your attention to detail and proactive direction build the kind of trust that turns projects into long-term growth partnerships. You guide, not just execute. Clients look to you for recommendations and clear direction, and your communication makes design and technical concepts easy for non-technical stakeholders to understand. Highly organized and able to self-prioritize across web projects, brand work, and ad hoc requests simultaneously. Adaptable and team-first — comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-growth agency environment, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Bonus Points For Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects A degree in graphic arts, graphic design, or a related field is beneficial but not required Experience working in a marketing agency or in-house marketing department setting is beneficial but not required Location & Work Environment This is an in-office position at our Bonita Springs, Florida location. Hybrid remote arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Benefits:
Paid time off Application Question(s): How do you build in WordPress - what's your stack, and why? Tell me about a client who was unhappy or losing confidence in the relationship. How did you win them back? A client sends you their logo as a JPEG and asks you to put it on a brochure. What do you do? When would you tell a client their site needs a rebuild rather than keeping the one they have? When would you use After Effects when Premier just won't cut it? What is your favorite Logo Design Software? Walk me through your process for taking a logo from concept to final delivery. What files does the client receive at the end?
