Job Description
Description We are looking for a UX/UI Web Designer to help elevate the digital experience for customers and brokers in Houston, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity focuses on creating a cleaner, more modern web presence through thoughtful interface design, visual refinement, and user-centered improvements across web pages and portal experiences. The role will partner closely with technical stakeholders to support ongoing enhancement efforts and future redesign initiatives while maintaining a high-quality, detail-focused online experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and refresh web pages and subpages to create a more contemporary, visually cohesive user experience.
- Improve the usability and presentation of broker and customer portal interfaces with a strong focus on clarity and consistency.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and design concepts that translate business goals into intuitive digital experiences.
- Refine graphics, layout elements, and visual assets to strengthen the overall quality and consistency of the web presence.
- Collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure designs are practical, responsive, and aligned with technical requirements.
- Contribute to phased redesign initiatives, including portal enhancements, website updates, and broader customer experience improvements.
- Apply web standards and responsive design principles to deliver effective experiences across devices and screen sizes.
- Work within a .NET-based environment and coordinate with development teams on implementation considerations, including front-end feasibility and web security awareness. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for websites, customer-facing portals, or similar digital platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating modern website redesigns, portal interfaces, and high-quality visual design work.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate effectively on front-end implementation.
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, and user journey improvements for responsive web experiences.
- Familiarity with web design or development in technical environments, including exposure to .NET or .NET Framework projects.
- Ability to work successfully with cross-functional technical teams and translate feedback into clear design solutions.
