Description The Apple Services Engineering UI team is looking for a highly motivated and skillful engineer to work with modern web application technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and related frameworks and libraries. Attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality, stable software are essential. To be successful, you must be a self-starter who can take large challenges and break them down into smaller, actionable tasks. You should also have strong collaboration skills, systems thinking, and the ability to build for scale and succession. You enjoy pushing the envelope, leveraging AI-assisted coding and automation to accelerate development, testing, and code review, while developing innovative solutions to complex problems. Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to enhance productivity, improve code quality, and streamline workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Champion best practices for accessibility, performance, and maintainability. Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, automation, and modern tooling. Apply systems thinking to build for scale, reliability, and seamless integration across Apple Services. Preferred Qualifications Experience with iOS application development (Objective-C/Swift). Exposure to modern AI/ML-based developer workflows for code generation, test automation, or performance optimization. Passion for improving engineering velocity through intelligent tooling and automation. Minimum Qualifications Experience building complex, large scale applications in using modern web technologies, including HTML/CSS/JavaScript or TypeScript (preferred). Demonstrated proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework like React, Vue.js, Angular.js or equivalent Demonstrated proficiency in modern CSS development using SASS Deep knowledge of Node.js, NPM, Webpack, Babel or other toolchains Deep knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, QUnit, etc. as well as testing best practices General knowledge of networking protocols

(GET, POST), cookies and other HTTP headers General knowledge of web development best practices around accessibility, performance and production monitoring Strong interpersonal and written communication skills BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
