Python Backend Engineer with

AI Agent Location:

Santa Clara, CA 5 Days Onsite (Mandatory)

Employment Type:

Long-Term Contract Key Responsibilities Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python . Build and maintain AI agents , system integrations, and MCP connectors. Develop and optimize SQL queries and database operations. Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize backend systems. Work with distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous processing. Use AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude, or GitHub Copilot . Collaborate with engineering teams on scalable and reliable solutions. Required Skills Strong Python and backend engineering experience. Strong SQL/database skills. Experience with APIs, integrations, and distributed systems. Experience with backend/database performance optimization. Hands-on experience with AI development/coding tools. Experience with AI Agent development / Agent SDK . Experience with

MCP / MCP

connectors . Experience with Temporal or workflow orchestration is a plus.
