Job Description

Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Kubernetes deployments and associated best practices; develop and maintain an API discovery platform using Core Java 17 and Spring Boot; design, implement, and coordinate SQL databases to support backend functionality; conduct system and performance testing using JMeter; integrate GraphQL to support advanced API querying capabilities; apply established software design patterns to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high quality code; collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to ensure smooth platform integration and system functionality; optimize and streamline build processes to improve development efficiency; develop, test, and maintain UI components for platform usability; build and maintain backend repositories and services; utilize and apply knowledge of GraphQL, Agile/SCRUM, JMeter, SQL, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, Java, Apache Kafka, SQL, Docker, Elasticsearch, and
RESTFUL API
Design to complete assigned tasks; facilitate SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to Agile development processes; and ensure seamless continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of software components.
Location:
Troy, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary:
$176,800 per year (Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), STD/LTD, life insurance, and EAP)
Education:
Bachelors - Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training:
None Experience:
Five (5) years in the position above, as a Tech Lead, as a Senior Software Engineering, as a Sr. Software Developer, as a Consultant, or in a related occupation.
