Position Summary We're seeking a Web Application Developer with strong business analytics experience to design and build web‑based reporting tools, dashboards, and data‑driven applications. Friday Location:
Lakewood, NJ 08701 Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain web‑based reports and interactive dashboards for operational and financial analysis. Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, data sources, and acceptance criteria. Build intuitive interfaces featuring charts, tables, filters, drill‑downs, and export options. Write and optimize SQL queries ; connect approved databases, APIs, and enterprise data sources. Validate calculations, reconcile data, and document metric definitions. Collaborate with project management and technical teams on scope, priorities, and deliverables. Test report accuracy, permissions, and performance; support UAT and code reviews. Troubleshoot production issues and maintain documentation. Follow source‑control, security, and access‑control standards. Required Skills & Competencies Strong business analysis and ability to translate reporting needs into functional features. Effective problem solving and issue diagnosis. High attention to detail in calculations and data validation. Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong collaboration across development and data teams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience building web applications, dashboards, or reporting tools. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks. Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, optimization, validation). Experience with REST APIs, Git, testing, and production support.
Preferred:
