EBC backend/runtime, APIs, session and identity context, integrations, reliable delivery of data and AI responses

Security and Governance:

Secure coding; least privilege; identity propagation; secrets management; masking; audit logging; protection of sensitive data

Observability and Operations:

Logging, metrics, distributed tracing, dashboards, alerting, SLIs, incident response, root-cause analysis, recovery, and support runbooks

Testing and Quality:

Unit, integration, contract, regression, performance, load, and resilience testing; automated quality gates

CI/CD and Release:

Automated build, test, deployment, promotion, rollback, credential rotation, and environment management

Cloud and Infrastructure:

Google Cloud Platform, GKE, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, service accounts, secrets, workload identity, networking, DNS, load balancing, and private connectivity

Knowledge Graph:

Ability to integrate backend services with semantic and graph interfaces

AI and Retrieval:

Working knowledge of conversational AI, agent integration, structured response payloads, citations, and graceful handling of unavailable downstream services

Data Engineering:

Advanced SQL; BigQuery; curated and authorized views; query optimization; result transformation; pagination, filtering, masking, and role-aware delivery

API and Integration:

API-first design; Apigee; authentication and authorization; user-context propagation; versioned contracts; rate limiting; integration with UI, AI gateways, agents, BigQuery, and Stardog

Backend Engineering:
