Dinsmore is seeking a Jr. Web Application Developer at our Cincinnati, OH location who is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications within Dinsmore & Shohl's development team. The Jr. Web Application Developer strives to ensure applications meet the business requirements established for any specific development projects. This position reports to the Director of Technology Innovation. Responsibilities Understand and resolve issues with existing applications Troubleshoot issues across the complete application lifecycle, including client-side applications, APIs, Azure services, IIS, SQL Server, authentication services, monitoring platforms, and integrations Work with various project members to determine requirements for new applications Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications and APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and related Microsoft technologies Utilize SQL queries/stored procedures to manipulate stored data Evaluate 3rd party code and applications and integrate those into a solution where appropriate using firm's infrastructure and technology partners Participate in the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services Follow secure development practices, including authentication, authorization, vulnerability remediation, dependency management, and data protection requirements Participate in CI/CD processes through Azure DevOps and GitHub, including automated testing and deployment pipelines Test and deploy developed solutions Identify and escalate technical issues; take corrective actions to ensure long-term resolution Stay current on technology trends and make recommendations for upgrade paths of existing technologies Prepare and maintain high level system documentation Maintains positive contact with firm personnel and clients Observes confidentiality in all firm and client matters Other duties as assigned Requirements Good written and oral communication skills Possess a combination of formal education and technical educational track Knowledge of legal environment and applications a plus Be a contributing member in a team-oriented environment Have a good working knowledge of object-oriented concepts and application design principles Ability to communicate with management and end users in a non-technical manner Experience developing applications using:

◦ ASP.NET Core (.NET 8/9)

◦ REST APIs

◦ Blazor and/or modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)

◦ Object-oriented design principles

◦ Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code Ability to understand and maintain both legacy and modern applications, including:

◦ HTML

◦ CSS

◦ JavaScript / TypeScript

◦ ASP.NET applications

◦ JSON and REST APIs
