This is an on-site, project-based opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and wants the potential to grow with a local creative business. The right person will help us deliver professional websites and related digital projects while becoming an important part of our long-term operation. This is not a remote position. Applicants must live within reasonable commuting distance of Perrysburg, Ohio, and be willing to work in our office as projects require. Responsibilities Design, build, update, and maintain WordPress websites Create responsive page layouts using Elementor and Elementor Pro Turn design concepts and client requirements into polished websites Troubleshoot WordPress, plugin, layout, and mobile responsiveness issues Handle website revisions and ongoing client requests Optimize websites for usability, performance, and basic SEO practices Communicate clearly about project status, timelines, and roadblocks Work collaboratively with the Blue Squared team from our Perrysburg-area office Help with graphic design, photo editing, video editing, or other creative projects when needed Identify opportunities to provide clients with additional services Required Qualifications At least two years of hands-on WordPress website design and development experience Strong working knowledge of Elementor A portfolio, live website links, or completed project work that demonstrates your abilities Ability to build responsive websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices Experience troubleshooting common WordPress and Elementor problems Strong attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines and complete projects with limited supervision Dependable transportation and the ability to work on-site in the Perrysburg area A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine eagerness to contribute Preferred Qualifications Experience with Elementor Pro Adobe Creative Cloud experience, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or After Effects Photo editing and optimization experience Video editing experience Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WooCommerce, hosting, domains, DNS, website migrations, and basic SEO Experience working with clients or within a creative agency Sales, account management, or business-development experience Compensation and Growth This role begins with compensation paid on a per-project basis. Project scope, responsibilities, deadlines, and compensation will be agreed upon before each assignment begins. Additional commission opportunities may be available for bringing in new business, expanding client accounts, or helping sell additional services. For the right person, this position may grow into a more consistent internal role with increased responsibility as the company expands.
