Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience in the Java/JEE ecosystem within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on coding experience with Java, Spring technologies, microservices, and enterprise application development. Strong hands-on experience with the Angular framework is required. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE.
- Develop applications using Java 17+ and Spring Framework, including Spring Core, MVC, Web Services, Integration, and Spring Data.
- Develop and maintain applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Microservices.
- Design and develop RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices using scalable architecture patterns.
- Implement event-driven architecture and related integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain frontend components using Angular, ExtJS, JSP, and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain data access solutions using Hibernate and Spring Data.
- Work with MongoDB, Oracle, IBM DB2, SQL, and RDBMS technologies.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and other testing frameworks.
- Participate in Agile development processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software engineering best practices. Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in Java/JEE development within an Agile environment.
- Strong hands-on coding experience with Java/J2EE and Java 17+.
- Strong experience with the Angular framework.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Core, MVC, Web Services, Integration, and Spring Data.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Microservices.
- Strong experience developing SOAP and REST web services and REST APIs.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience with Hibernate.
- Experience with ExtJS, JSP, and JavaScript.
- Experience with MongoDB, Oracle, IBM DB2, SQL, and RDBMS concepts.
- Experience with JUnit and other unit testing frameworks. Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Drools Framework.
- Knowledge of the AngularJS Framework.
- Experience with Bitbucket.
- Experience working with JIRA.
- Experience working with AWS.
