Senior WordPress Developer Bolden Technology Group Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time | Contract $50 - $60 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Responsive design WordPress Accessible UI/UX design Visual UI/UX design Cross-browser compatibility design Full Job Description We are seeking a Senior WordPress Technical Lead to provide development, maintenance, troubleshooting, accessibility, and modernization support for a public-sector digital services engagement. This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment or engagement will begin only if the client contract is awarded, authorized, and funded. Responsibilities Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionality. Support ACF, Gutenberg, Divi, Elementor, and Beaver Builder environments. Troubleshoot legacy WordPress systems, integrations, and production issues. Support website redesigns, modernization, performance, security, and technical improvements. Perform accessibility remediation and testing consistent with
WCAG 2.1 AA.
Support APIs, hosting, caching, deployments, Git, and staging environments. Provide technical estimates, recommendations, and stakeholder support. Participate in Microsoft Teams meetings and occasional in-person meetings in Atlanta. Qualifications 7+ years of professional web development experience. 5+ years of strong WordPress development experience. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress. Experience with custom themes/plugins, ACF, page builders, and Gutenberg. Experience with WCAG accessibility and responsive web development. Experience with APIs, Git, deployments, and legacy systems. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and independent problem-solving skills. Experience supporting government, nonprofit, higher education, or other complex organizations is a plus. Position is contract-contingent and subject to successful client contract award, authorization, and funding. Hours and workload will depend on client needs.
Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 10.0 per week
