Only Video We are seeking an experienced WordPress Migration Specialist to support a large-scale web modernization initiative focused on migrating websites from a legacy hosting platform to a centralized WordPress environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with WordPress website migrations , accessibility standards, SEO preservation, and customer-facing support. Key Responsibilities Migrate WordPress websites from legacy hosting environments to a centralized platform Validate content, functionality, links, and media after migration Preserve SEO through redirects and URL management Assess existing website functionality and recommend compatible solutions/plugins Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and support migration planning Identify and address web accessibility issues in alignment with WCAG standards Coordinate DNS/domain updates related to website migrations Track migration requests, maintain documentation, and provide status updates Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve migration issues Required Qualifications 3-5 years of WordPress CMS experience Experience with website migration projects
Knowledge of:
SEO redirects WCAG accessibility standards DNS/domain configuration Plugin and content management Strong communication and customer support skills Ability to manage multiple migration projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience with Git or version control tools Experience working in higher education or enterprise web environments
