National Home Builders is looking for a part-time In-Office Web Designer to support our team with website builds, updates, and digital media maintenance. If you know your way around WordPress and code, this is an ideal role to build your portfolio and gain practical agency experience while keeping up with your class schedule!

Location:

In-Person | Columbia, SC ( Must live within local commuting distance. No remote, hybrid, or relocation. )

Schedule:

Part-Time / Flexible hours

What You'll Do Build & Design:

Create clean, mobile-friendly landing pages and service sites using proven layouts.

Content Uploads:

Format text, graphics, blog posts, and media updates across multiple client sites.

Maintenance & Edits:

Handle routine site checks, fix minor issues, and update WordPress plugins.

Collaborate:

Execute clear, fast design updates alongside our Lead Designer.

What We're Looking For Core Tech Skills:

1-5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript ( personal projects and coursework count! ).

Platform Proficiency:

Strong familiarity with WordPress and page builders. (

Note:

Wix, Weebly, and Squarespace experience will not apply for this role ).

Work Ethic:

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions reliably.

Local Resident:

Currently living within commuting distance of our Columbia, SC office. Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Great to Have) Image editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools) Interest in digital marketing, SEO, or agency work Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager How to
