A Web Developer designs and builds websites. Works on technical as well as design aspects of sites. Works with a company or client to plan content and format for a site, creates applications, writes code, and integrates design features including graphics, sound and video. Monitors traffic at the site.
(MIELS): Bowhead is seeking Web/SharePoint Developers to support a customer in Stafford, VA. Support for the contract will consist of program management; logistics; asset management; engineering; customer service; research and development of new capabilities; test and evaluation; manpower, training, and personnel; new equipment fielding and training; financial management; information assurance; cybersecurity; and 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain multiple websites, including MKG, HighPoint, Entitlements Management, iSToRE, and Intel Division. Responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks, including permissions management, site navigation management, metrics collection and analysis, page, and design changes, and troubleshooting issues. Develop, configure, and maintain web sites and applications. Design and implement web-based solutions to meet business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements. Perform system integrations and implement workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web applications. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and training materials. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field. 3+ years of experience in website administration or a related field.
