Job Description
The Student Media Webmaster is in charge of updating and maintaining the department's official website: www.sxustudentmedia.com . The Student Media Webmaster will also oversee the department's social media presence. This student employment opportunity supports the development of skills aligned with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies. In charge of maintaining the Department's official website Conduct website upgrades when necessary Uploads the official PDFs of The Xavierite Update the website on a regular basis with new content Assure that no copyright laws are broken in the use of downloaded images, text, photos, videos, graphics, and other published materials to the website Monitor site for content Attend general staff meetings Is a member of the Student Media Leadership Committee Has experience utilizing WordPress for updating web content Has general HTML coding knowledge and experience Oversees the department's social media presence and develops a strategy. Maintains weekly posted office hours (5 hours per week)MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
