The RoleAs a Mainframe Web Server Support Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.
There's never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You'll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You'll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise5+ years of experience in Apache Web Server administration and support .Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS and OMVS (UNIX System Services).Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, shell commands, and scripting.
Experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Apache Web Servers.
Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, HTTPS configuration, and security hardening.
Knowledge of zFS/HFS file systems, USS directories, and UNIX permissions.
Experience troubleshooting web server, UNIX, and OMVS-related production incidents.
Familiarity with software patching, upgrades, maintenance, and version compatibility management.
Experience analyzing logs, performance bottlenecks, and system availability issues.
Strong problem-solving, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
Ability to create technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
Preferred Technical and Professional ExperienceExperience with z/OS Connect, web services, and middleware technologies.
Knowledge of RACF, ACF2, and enterprise security frameworks.
Experience with Apache reverse proxy and load-balancing configurations.
Shell scripting experience in
Understanding of system monitoring and performance tuning methodologies.
Exposure to DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management practices.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise mainframe environments.
