Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Content Administrator will work as a part of a team who are responsible for administering, supporting, document conversions and migrations and monitoring of the content management system. This includes day-to-day administration, performance tuning, and maintenance supporting all systems required for the content management environment to be functional. The Enterprise Content Administrator will also be responsible for reviewing maintenance plans, ensuring backups are being successfully performed, respond to failures, write and test disaster recovery plans, and assist in design of application interfaces to the document repository.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure system availability, recoveryProvide daily management of content management system infrastructure and assure service availabilityMaintain all environments including Development, QA, and Production environmentsWork with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality productsResponsible for documenting all maintenance proceduresMaintain policies and procedures to ensure regulatory complianceKeep the content management software up to date with necessary patchesPerform release management activitiesPerform server migration/upgrade activitiesPerform other duties as assigned Essential Skills5+ years content management experience within an enterprise level environment (preferred)Experience in OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OCC, OTDS, or Brava Thorough understanding of content management systemsExperience troubleshooting and resolving integrity and performance issuesExperience with performance tuning a content management environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
