Job Description

Summary This position is a Member of the Testing and Compliance Department. A Testing Associate 2 will assist in the installation and testing of products to verify the product is manufactured to specification and meets the required safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to perform associate 1 duty. Answer any questions from associate 1. Find and print install sheet for assembly. Find and read prints if any of the parts are made wrong or not working. Record issues and write PCR's or QDR's. Conduct reviews with design team for new equipment. Send emails with pictures and notes for new equipment. Use section 12 of ASTM to calculate loads required for testing. Ability to look up past test to compare to new if needed. Fill out test form as you are testing the equipment. Understand all the testing standards and help answer question from other associates. Must be willing to be CPSI certified. Must know how to use all testing gauges.
QUALIFICATIONS
Testing Associate 2 should be mechanically minded and have an understanding how to assembly parts using instructions. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. High School Diploma Standard computer knowledge. Must be able to read a tape measure and ability to use basic hand tools. Travel Some travel will be required, 5% Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to critical think through a process, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion. Critical thinking. Other Skills Forklift Operator or ability to be trained. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, except in the manufacturing environment where PPE may be required.
