Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapy Assistant to support our licensed therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in helping patients achieve their health goals. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with patient treatments, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Assist licensed therapists during patient treatment sessions by preparing equipment and supporting therapeutic procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms to uphold hygiene standards. Monitor patient comfort levels and provide support to ensure a positive experience. Educate patients on post-treatment exercises and home care routines as directed by the therapist. Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in accordance with clinic protocols. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records when needed. Adhere to all safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients. Qualifications Prior experience or training in physical therapy assistance, rehabilitation, or related healthcare fields is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Knowledge of basic anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and patient care procedures. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and treatment preparation. Certification or licensure as required by state or local regulations is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
