Job Title:
TIG Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. This role requires an experienced professional who is adept at reading blueprints and welding stainless steel components. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities Read and interpret job orders and production schedules. Assemble various bagging machines and wire them correctly. Assist in different areas throughout the plant as needed. Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) in good working condition. Adhere to industrial safety procedures and company safety standards. Identify and address missing welds to ensure product quality before painting. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in TIG welding with a minimum of two years of experience. Ability to read blueprints and perform precision welding on stainless steel. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Possess strong work ethic and professionalism. No certification required but preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. No high school diploma necessary. Work Environment This role is based in Dakota City, IA, at a facility that maintains excellent safety records. Although the work environment is not climate-controlled, it is heated. Welders typically work in their own cells with direction available as needed. The company provides steel-toed boots annually with a $200 allowance, as well as safety glasses and weld helmets. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dakota City, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
