To Be Determined Job Description Primary Purpose To ensure increased student achievement and improved classroom instruction by assisting the Principal in the coordination and administration of various programs of the school within the framework of the philosophy, goals, and policy established by the Board. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD. Qualifications Education/Certification/Licensure Master's degree in educational administration or content area preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate required State Appraisal System training certification preferred Special Knowledge/Skills Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies for all learners Proficient in the use and analysis of data management systems Skilled in evaluating instructional practice and assessing teaching effectiveness Experienced in interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and data-driven insights Proven track record of exemplary teaching that leads to student achievement Proven track record of success as an instructional leader Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience as a classroom teacher Instructional Leadership experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties Lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of instructional practice aligned with campus and district goals. Support the development and assessment of the impact of innovative instructional strategies and curriculum enhancements. Facilitate effective teacher implementation of instructional concepts and content across all subject areas. Provide ongoing instructional coaching, feedback, and support through classroom visits and conferences. Promote high expectations for teaching and learning; recognize and celebrate excellence and improvement. Support assessment and academic intervention, ensuring fidelity of implementation. Identify and facilitate research-based instructional practices and interventions grounded in data analysis. Monitor instructional processes to ensure alignment between program activities and intended outcomes. Promote and support integration of technology into instruction to enhance student learning. Assist the campus principal with tasks such as improvement planning, supporting instructional staff, and onboarding and mentoring current and new employees. Analyze campus student data to guide instructional decisions and improvement plans Utilize data to design, implement, and revise instructional programs and professional learning. Maintain accuracy of student program data, records, and reports for accountability and compliance. Use data to support student transitions and promote academic growth for at-risk and advanced learners. Interpret academic data to improve student outcomes and instructional efficacy. Design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality, job-embedded professional development aligned with campus and district initiatives to support campus academic growth. Support teacher growth by guiding goal setting and providing opportunities for professional reflection. Build instructional capacity through collaboration with district and campus-based instructional personnel. Model high-quality instruction by demonstrating effective lesson design and research-based instructional strategies. Build leadership capacity by facilitating collaborative teams, developing teacher leaders, and monitoring Professional Learning Communities' effectiveness to improve instruction and outcomes. Collaborate with district and campus personnel to maintain and strengthen instructional programs. Participate actively in the Campus Leadership Team, Guiding Coalition, PBIS, PLC's and district committees as appropriate. Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, board policy, and district procedures. Interpret and apply district policy in all decision-making and correspondence. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD. Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth. Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications. Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students. Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities. Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings. Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal). Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
