Job Description

NABRICO Marine Products, is searching for a Toolroom Attendant in our Ashland City, TN barge plant. In this role, you will maintain, restock and monitor the toolroom inventory. NABRICO Marine Products, Inc., is part of NABRICO's Inland Barge Group, and is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. NABRICO Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. NABRICO Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, NABRICO Marine Products provide a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.
What You Will Do:
Taking stock inventory of tool distribution. Checking for wear or defects in returned tools. Recording and storing tools for later use. Issuing tools and other equipment to workers. Maintaining records of issued tools. Monitoring tool crib inventory. Receiving new tools and scheduling preventative maintenance. Managing tool inventory and transactions. Ensuring a safe work area.
What You Will Need:
Toolroom or parts room experience a plus. General knowledge of tools and their intended use. Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment. Ability to work efficiently independently and within a team. Great attention to detail. Good communication and organizational skills. Basic mathematical skills. Basic computer skills. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. MRN144
