Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us as a Top Pot Delran Server where your dedication transforms ordinary meals into extraordinary experiences!
