Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Operator and become the essential link in providing prompt, professional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and support our commitment to excellent customer service. Your mechanical skills and driving expertise will ensure every job is completed efficiently, safely, and with a positive attitude that keeps our customers satisfied and confident. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wheel-lift models, to recover and transport vehicles of various sizes and types. Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics to assess damage or mechanical issues before towing. Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring secure transport. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and service reports for record-keeping purposes. Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs or adjustments as needed to ensure tow truck safety and functionality. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, or automotive repair knowledge. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of manual transmissions, flatbed operations, and automotive systems. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally when necessary. Hands-on mechanic experience is highly valued for troubleshooting vehicle issues on-site. Pay:
$800.00 - $1,800.00 per week
