TPW Metals Expediter

Responsibilities Acts as the primary liaison between Yard, Saw, Production, and Shipping departments to maintain efficient workflow and communication. Reviews daily production schedules against physical inventory to ensure required parts and materials are available. Coordinates movement of materials throughout the manufacturing process. Locates, pulls, and stages materials required for production jobs to ensure timely processing and completion. Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to transport materials throughout the facility. Directs rejected or non-conforming materials back to Quality Control or external vendors for rework or replacement. Tracks orders, materials, and equipment to ensure production schedules are maintained and delivery deadlines are met. Identifies production delays or bottlenecks and works with departments to implement solutions. Maintains appropriate inventory levels and submits purchase orders for required supplies and materials. Verifies completed orders meet customer specifications and quality requirements. Communicates with internal teams regarding order status, scheduling updates, and issue resolution. Assists with inventory counts, material audits, and production reporting as needed. Follows all company safety procedures and maintains a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in material coordination, manufacturing expediting, inventory control, or supply chain operations. Ability to read and interpret basic manufacturing schematics or drawings to identify requested parts. Forklift operating experience required Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
