Job Summary:
Provides operational, project, training, technical, and administrative support of a complex nature for all aspects of the Education Department. Coordinates, facilitates, promotes, and assists departmental processes including orientation, organization-wide education, clinical and non-clinical staff development, new and existing staff education and training programs, regulatory compliance programs, and policy management application processes.
Primary Duties:
1. Arranges and supports all logistical aspects of onboarding for new hires, including creating orientation schedules, creating class rosters, updating speaker presentations, ordering catering, reserving meeting rooms, collating participant feedback, grading classes in the Learning Management System (LMS), etc. 2. Facilitates onboarding presentations and hosts guest speakers. 3. Teaches classes in support of the network and other courses in both a virtual and an in-person class format. 4. Provides general support for classes and programs, such as creating class rosters, updating speaker presentations, ordering catering, reserving meeting rooms, collating participant feedback, grading classes in the Learning Management System, etc. 5. Serves as the primary liaison for allied health programs among university staff, faculty, and students. Coordinates clinical placements that align with program outcomes and ensures that regulatory standards are met. 6. Manages the placement lifecycle program (matches clinical sites and preceptors, maintaining data and records, and coordinating affiliation agreements) while partnering with the legal department on approvals and renewals. 7. Collaborates with faculty and academic leadership to address complex logistical and relationship management challenges to deliver seamless, effective clinical education that drives positive student and program outcomes. 8. Manages and coordinates logistics for a multi-vendor resuscitation program, including classroom scheduling, LMS, course grading, and issue resolution. 9. Prepares and submits preliminary budgets for all assigned programs. 10. Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED
for the position: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrates intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint specifically). Current working knowledge of an education and training department's processes, including new hire orientation and onboarding or similar work experience. Experience in speaking to groups and/or group presentations.
DESIRED for the position:
Bachelor's degree 2 years of experience in training and education, or organizational development environment. Experience in training delivery and facilitation. Certification APTD or similar certification in a related specialty. Experience working with student placement. Experience in a healthcare/hospital environment
