Family-friendly benefits including Health, Dental and Vision Paid vacation Paid holidays Employee meat purchase program Responsibilities Transportation Clerk 2nd Shift responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing all the transportation needs for the Dodge City, Kansas processing plant Works closely with all departments at the plant making sure their needs are addressed Work with all carriers and drivers to make sure they are kept updated on loads and issues Other duties as assigned Hours for the Transportation Clerk position are 4 pm to 1 am Monday through Friday; Saturday hours are as required This is an on-site position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Transportation Clerk position should possess the following: Excellent communication skills Ability to effectively organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work in stressful circumstances handling various types of personalities And levels of authority Reasoning and problem solving ability Ability to visualize geographic locations and the flow of transportation Ability to interact with several areas of the company High energy level with a strong sense of urgency Willing to work in a team oriented atmosphere Strong work ethic Must be able to work flexible schedule when required Weekend (rotation). Must be able to work weekends when required Focus on customer service and the bottom line of the company Strong personal value system Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
