Come Together at Kapco Video Transportation and Fleet Manager - Grafton, WI Primary Responsibilities Fleet Management Manage daily fleet operations for Steel Blue Logistics.
Oversee acquisition, leasing, and disposal of vehicles.
Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and overall fleet performance.
Ensure timely maintenance and compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
Develop and manage driver schedules and assignments. Transportation Operations Direct daily transportation activities, including scheduling, dispatching, and shipment tracking.
Plan and optimize transportation routes for efficiency and cost savings.
Analyze freight spend, identify inefficiencies, and implement cost-reduction strategies.
Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers, 3PLs, and freight forwarders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
Strong knowledge of transportation industry and fleet management practices.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
