, (Los Angeles and Las Vegas) you'll lead airport operations across two of our most strategically important gateways in the United States, ensuring every customer journey begins and ends with excellence. This is a high-profile leadership role where you'll be accountable for operational performance, customer experience, safety, security and commercial outcomes across the region. Working closely with airport partners, suppliers, government agencies and internal stakeholders, you'll help shape the future of our operation while leading a team that delivers exceptional service every day. What you'll do Lead, coach and develop teams to deliver outstanding customer service and operational performance. Create an environment that promotes high engagement, accountability and a positive team culture. Deliver all station operational KPIs and customer service targets to agreed standards. Ensure effective service recovery processes are in place and consistently executed. Represent British Airways in customer-related matters and build strong relationships with airport authorities and external stakeholders. Maintain full compliance with all safety, security, audit and regulatory requirements. Manage budgets within agreed financial parameters and ensure adherence to audit controls. Negotiate with suppliers and partners in line with corporate guidelines. Build and maintain effective relationships with ground handling agents, suppliers, airport authorities, government agencies and internal teams. Hold suppliers accountable for delivering agreed service levels and contractual commitments. Act as a Hearing Officer when required. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational and supplier performance. Ensure all administrative and governance activities are completed accurately and on time. Act as the Local Emergency Coordinator during operational disruptions or emergency situations. Your strong judgement, negotiating skills and commitment to continuous improvement help you deliver sustainable results and exceptional customer experiences. Your experience Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree or equivalent required. Airport operational experience (Essential) Previous people management and/or supplier management experience.(Essential) Experience working across multiple functions and stakeholder groups. Experience managing conflict and responding effectively in crisis situations. Proven ability to work under pressure in a demanding operational environment. Ability to work independently and make decisions with confidence. Strong understanding of safety and security requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience using safety management systems. Willingness to travel and work weekends or irregular hours when required.
