Under the direction of the Airport Operations Manager, the Airport Operations Technician ensures the airport's operational safety, regulatory compliance, and airfield readiness. This role performs daily airfield inspections, maintenance, repairs, and operational tasks required to meet FAA Part 139 standards and TSA Part 1542 security requirements. The position works collaboratively with the operations team, FAA, ATC, Certification and Security Inspectors, city departments, local police and fire, and all stakeholders including airlines, corporate and general aviation tenants while promoting a positive, professional, and safety?focused work culture. Duties include maintaining the operational readiness of all safety and security protocols, programs and equipment to meet and or exceed requirements outlined in the Airport Certification Manual and Airport Security Plan.
