Job Description Role Purpose Lead the Airports Consulting practice for the Americas region, driving strategic growth, client engagement, and delivery excellence across airport infrastructure, operations, and digital transformation initiatives. This role will position Wipro as a trusted advisor to airport operators and ecosystem partners, ensuring consulting-led value creation. ͏
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership:
Build and scale the Airports consulting capability in the Americas, aligning with global strategy. Develop go-to-market propositions for airport modernization, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Client Engagement:
Act as the senior relationship owner for key airport accounts. Drive C-suite conversations beyond IT, covering operational efficiency, passenger experience, and revenue optimization.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue strategic opportunities across greenfield and brownfield airport projects. Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to craft winning proposals for consulting-led deals.
Delivery Oversight:
Ensure successful execution of consulting engagements, maintaining high quality and client satisfaction. Provide thought leadership on airport operations, safety compliance, and infrastructure planning.
Talent Development:
Mentor and grow a team of airport SMEs and consultants. Foster cross-geo collaboration with India Hub and global teams for knowledge sharing. ͏
Required Skills & Experience:
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of airport operations, safety compliance, and infrastructure development. Experience with major airport programs (e.g., JFK proposals, GTAA compliance, Vision Edge projects).
Consulting Acumen:
Ability to lead consulting-led strategies and integrate with sales processes. Proven track record in managing large-scale transformation programs.
Leadership Skills:
Strategic vision and planning for airport modernization. Strong stakeholder management across airlines, regulators, and government bodies.
Technical & Operational Knowledge:
Familiarity with airport infrastructure design, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability practices.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities. Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment. ͏
Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years in aviation consulting or airport operations. Experience in Americas market with exposure to global airport programs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field; MBA preferred. ͏ The expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00 to $265,000.00. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
