Job Summary Responsibilities Provide closing support to the Closing Officers with a particular emphasis on data management, due diligence review, and document preparationClose assumptions, supplementals and vanilla agency loans under the supervision of a senior closing officerSupport Delivery ManagementManage receipt and review of due diligence items and ensure all necessary participants receive copiesTrack rate lock and closing special conditionsGenerate amortization schedulesPrepare escrow analysesAssist with drafting commitmentsGenerate accounting workbooks for review by Closing Officer and coordinate with Loan Funding and the warehouse lender to set loans up for fundingPrepare reconciliation of application fee and third‑party costsBack up the closing analyst responsible for the preparation of income notices and the follow‑up on servicing set‑up issuesEnsure that data in Salesforce is complete and accurate throughout the processGenerate Midland HML within required timelinesEnsure that documents needed within 48 hours for loan set‑up are received and placed in the Servicing Deliverables folderFollow up with counsel if documents are not received by required deadlinePrepare C&D commitments and submissions on Fannie Mae dealsPrepare Funding Express submissions on Fannie Mae deals and provide necessary information and backup support to the Early Funding DeskReview C&D and the final 4662 before submission of the loan for securitization to ensure accuracy and consistencyTrack and follow up on post‑closing requests from Fannie Mae and Freddie MacProvide backup support to Delivery ManagementAssist with deliveries, Ginnie Mae pool set‑ups, investor communication, and the tracking and follow‑up on open post‑closing itemsAssist with the closing of HUD IRR dealsClose assumptions, supplementals, and vanilla agency deals under the supervision of a senior closing officerCommunicate and problem‑solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, often in combination with travelPerform other duties as assignedRequirements Bachelor's Degree1+ years of experience in the corporate workforceAbility to work as a part of a team, while providing a strong individual contributionStrong time management and organizational skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent judgment and dependability, including the ability to meet deadlinesStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong working ability with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processesCourtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholdersCore Competencies Demonstrates expertise in data management, due diligence review, and document preparation within the closing process.
