Airport Security Officer:
Patrol Driver Customer Assistance in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. AM Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 21+ years of age Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe activities throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
