AM Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 18+ years of age Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the airport location. Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, unattended property, and potential hazards, and report observations through established communication and reporting procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional support when needed. Assist with directing visitors and maintaining an orderly presence at assigned posts while helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting airport operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least one year of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
