Job Description

Description This full/ part time position will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations, including guest relations, motivating and supervising all FOH employees as well as administrative tasks. Requirements Demonstrates Passion for Guest Satisfaction Track record actively supporting and promoting staff development Possess excellent people skills; be able to communicate effectively with customers and with employees Ability to build & lead successful teams Ability to be a role model in employee appearance and presentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Willingness to take initiative and be self-motivated Demonstrate strong organizational and analytical abilities Knowledge of wine and spirits is a plus Open Availability Work closely with: Sales Associates, Stock, other Supervisory personnel, and Management team Involved with: Being a champion of customer service, retailing high quality products, handling cash drawer funds, receiving and distributing product and supplies to all stores, tracking the inventory of product and supplies, maintaining clean and orderly stores, providing breaks, assisting in stock and merchandising, assist in the training and development of new employees, counting the day or shift receipts and posting the sales into the Grove's SMART technology - VM, and securing all cash funds and bank deposits. The SUP will perform exceptional customer service skills by following The Grove's signature customer service program, S.A.M.P.L.E.S. They will be comfortable communicating to individuals of all age, race and ethnic backgrounds. They must be helpful, enthusiastic, and concerned with providing excellent service for the well being of the customer and the company. The SUP will ensure that all stores are open according to established hours of operation and adjust accordingly with any flight schedule changes. They will ensure all sales are captured in the registers. They will monitor all products to ensure that they represent exceptional quality at all times. They will ensure that all stores are clean and merchandised well. They will ensure all maintenance needs for office, stock room, stores and equipment are met. The SUP will be a leader by demonstrating the high standards of performance and insuring that such standards are met. They will assist in the training and development of new employees. They will communicate and interact with other employee's to maintain The Grove's policies and standard operating procedures. They will assist in identifying and addressing performance issues directly and appropriately. The SUP will be fully accountable for the retail operations of all stores. First and foremost, this individual must be able to communicate in English, spoken and read. They will be required to operate a touch screen cash register and properly handle all cash funds related to the register. They must also be able to read a scale for the products to be sold and inventoried by weight. They will perform all cash register procedures as stated in The Grove's POS System Guide, including clock in/clock out procedures. The SUP will be trained in the product knowledge of all concepts sold in the store. They will be expected to perform all duties relative to each store's operation. This will include proper product rotation procedures, FIFO - first in first out. They must abide by The Grove's Employee Handbook as well as the requirements held by the city/county health department. They are also held to the adherence of the Federal ID badging and security checkpoint policies that are strictly enforced at the airport. The SUP must maintain a clean and neat appearance while wearing the complete Grove uniform and practice good hygiene at all times. The SUP must be self-motivated and goal-oriented with an ambition to please others. The SUP is a team player who respects and supports co-workers. They may participate in company promotions and contests. The SUP must be committed to the weekly schedule that is posted. Product Handling/Stocking:
Handles all product and supplies in a safe and sanitary manner. Distributes the product and supplies efficiently according to store's requisition/stock list.

Demonstrates commitment to high standards of performance by exemplifying such standards in own behavior and work. Establishes and communicates high performance standards and expectations to employees.
Enforcement of Company Policies and Procedures:
Regularly adheres to policies and standard operating procedures. Suggests new methods and processes. Observes confidentiality.
Handling of Negative Staff Performance:
Establishes and communicates clear work standards to employees and insures that such work standards are met. Identifies and addresses performance problems directly and appropriately. Gives constructive suggestions to subordinates.
Cash Funds and POS System Tasks:
All cash funds are always accounted for and accurately recorded. Daily POS System tasks are performed completely and accurately.

From $19.50 per hour
