AIRPORT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Full Time Summary The Airport Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of airport facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role serves as a key point of leadership in the absence of the Director of Airport Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the work of airport staff involved in fee collection, supply sales, and general airport operations when the Director is unavailable Oversee the maintenance and repair of airport equipment and facilities, including routine inspections and the procurement of necessary parts Directly manage the Airport General Laborer and ensure effective task delegation and performance. Maintain the overall safety, security, and cleanliness of the airport grounds and facilities Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED FAA Pilot's Certificate or Mechanic's Certificate preferred Proficient in the use of standard office equipment and software Valid driver's license required Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical Strong knowledge of general aviation airport operations and procedures Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, operate equipment, and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems preferred
