CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures. We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as an Aviation Repair QC Inspector at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky). NDT individuals will have the skills and knowledge to set up and calibrate equipment, conducts tests and to interpret, evaluate and document results. The ideal candidate will be an ASNT Trained
NDT FPI & UT
Technician, certified or certifiable to NAS-410 and willing to become certified to our Customer Specific Certified Examiner requirements (preferred but not required). The ideal candidate must have at least 40 hours of documented classroom training in NDT in
FPI & UT
by training facility. A minimum of 400 hours practical hands-on experience at their previous employer. The ideal candidate will be flexible to perform other visual inspections as needed such as preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections on metal/composite civil aviation articles with the current technical data provided in the manufacture's instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable approved by the FAA when NDT requirements are not required. Evaluation of hardware at designated steps throughout the repair process. Release of hardware to outside processes. Inspection of hardware from outside processes. Job Requirements US Citizen/Green Card Holder HS Diploma/GED The individual will be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which is being performed. The individual will be able to organize and document NDT results and be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method being utilized.
