Tolleson, AZ Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Passenger Endorsement Employee relationship building School Bus Endorsement Air Brake Endorsement Full Job Description Bus Driver Position requirements: 1. High school graduate, GED and/or equivalent work experience. 2. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with AZ School Bus Driver and Passenger Endorsement including air brake certification. 3. Successful driving record for the past three years with no DUI convictions. 4. Ability to maintain appropriate interpersonal relations with students, parents and others of the district. 5. Ability to pass an annual drug test and additional drug tests as appropriate. 6. Such alternatives to the above as the administration finds appropriate. 7. Experience with driving bus or heavy equipment preferred.
Essential Duties:
Performs pre and post-trip maintenance checks of vehicle. Transports students on regular and assigned runs. Observes all mandatory safety regulations. Maintains and/or reports undisciplined students to proper authority. Reports all necessary preventative maintenance to transportation supervisor as required by law. Reports all accidents and completes all required documentation. Performs and completes other duties as assigned by the Director of Support Services.
Terms of Employment:
10 Month, Full Time Position (40 hours per week) and Benefits Eligible. Classifed Hourly Placement Schedule- Grade 8
