Who You Are:

You're a CDL driver who wants to be home every night, not on the road You're customer-focused, dependable, and committed to providing safe, reliable transportation You want a predictable weekly schedule You want consistent earnings and affordable benefits As a Transit Operator for Via, you'll safely operate transit vehicles while providing exceptional customer service to riders in Tulare, CA. You'll play an important role in connecting your community to reliable transportation every day. We are currently hiring fully licensed CDL drivers with passenger and air brake endorsements. What You'll Do Safely operate transit vehicles while providing courteous, professional service to passengers Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining a strong focus on safety Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns Communicate effectively with dispatch and respond to operational updates Assist passengers as needed and provide excellent customer service Complete required reports and documentation, including inspection, incident, and accident reports Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures

Who You Are:

At least 25 years old Have at least 3 years of licensed driving experience Hold a valid Class A or B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements (we can help with endorsements!) Eligible to work in the United States Able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the public High school diploma or equivalent Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, DMV record check, and criminal background check in accordance with applicable laws Customer-focused, dependable, and committed to providing safe, reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $23/hour Full-time opportunities available Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, and paid time off
