Vista View Post-Acute is looking for a full-time Bus Driver/Transportation Liaison. Pay rate starts at $20.50/hr., depending on experience! We are seeking a dependable Bus Driver/Transportation Liaison for our skilled nursing facility. You will provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to appointments, outings, and facility-related trips, and serve as a friendly point of contact between residents, families, clinic staff, and the care team, helping each trip run smoothly, on time, and with dignity. Key Responsibilities Drive facility vehicle(s) to transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, therapies, discharge transfers (as assigned), and community outings. Assist residents with safe boarding/unloading, including wheelchair securement and mobility support within role/scope. Coordinate schedules with nursing, therapy, and appointments; confirm pick-up/drop-off times and special needs. Maintain clear trip documentation (logs, mileage, passenger rosters, incident reports as needed). Communicate changes, delays, and resident needs promptly to the appropriate staff and receiving locations. Conduct pre
  • and post-trip vehicle inspections; keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready.
Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, HIPAA/privacy guidelines, and facility policies. Support a calm, respectful ride experience—helping residents feel comfortable and cared for. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred/required if applicable to vehicle type). Experience transporting seniors or healthcare passengers strongly preferred. Ability to safely assist with mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers); comfort working around residents with varying levels of cognition and mobility. Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a service-focused attitude. Able to pass background check, drug screen, and any required physical/health screenings.
