Job Description

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is hiring a Class B CDL Shuttle Bus Driver to transport guests up and down Iron Mountain when weather or operating conditions require alternate transportation during Gondola closures. This is a full-time or part-time, in-person position starting at $26 per hour. A valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement is required. When shuttle service is not needed, you will support daily park operations, guest service, attractions, and park cleanliness. This role is a good fit for a flexible, service-minded driver who is comfortable working outdoors and helping wherever needed. What you'll do Safely transport guests by bus up and down Iron Mountain during Gondola closures or other alternate-transportation situations. Navigate Transfer Trail safely and follow all operating procedures. Complete required Department of Transportation vehicle inspections and maintain accurate inspection paperwork. Communicate by radio with the Base Operations Manager and Manager on Duty regarding your location and park operations. Keep buses clean, safe, and ready for guest transportation. Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and answer guest questions about the park. Support guest arrival periods and assist with tasks such as Guest Services, table bussing, cleaning and trash removal. Train as a Gondola Attendant and Gondola Operator and provide break coverage or serve in those positions as assigned. Assist with attractions and other operational needs when vehicles are not in use. Perform other duties based on park needs. Required qualifications At least 21 years old. Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in random DOT drug testing. Ability to safely operate a bus in changing mountain weather and road conditions. Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and conditions. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for safety, operational, and guest communication. Strong attention to detail, judgment, and ability to work independently. Positive, professional attitude and strong customer-service skills. Reliable transportation to the park. Flexible availability, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred qualification Previous bus-driving experience.
Pay and schedule Starting pay:
$26 per hour. Full-time and part-time opportunities. Eight-hour shifts may include mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
