Full Job Description Our Organization:

The Cardinal Shehan Center is a non-profit organization located in Bridgeport, CT. For 60+ years, the Center has served the recreational, educational, and social needs of moderate and low-income families and young people of lower Fairfield County, particularly inner-city Bridgeport. Our mission is enriching lives through learning . This is accomplished by offering an After School & Saturday Youth Development Program, Summer Day Camp, various basketball leagues, Sign-Up Programs, Physical Education classes to grammar schools, and alternative education programs.

The Position :

We're looking for a Bus Driver (part-time) for our After School Program. The shift for this position will be Monday through Thursday from 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm and Fridays 11:00 am - 5:30 pm. The bus driver will primarily be responsible for safely transporting children to the Cardinal Shehan Center from their schools, back to school from the Cardinal Shehan Center, and to field trips.

Requirements:

• Must possess a CDL license and/or passenger endorsement

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Punctual
• Available to work on desired shift time
• Must enjoy working around children
