Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Fun Bus Driver - Kids Mobile Gym and become a vital part of creating joyful, active experiences for children! In this lively role, you'll operate a specially equipped bus that functions as a mobile gym, bringing fun, fitness, and wellness directly to communities. Your energetic driving skills and passion for working with kids will help foster healthy habits and memorable moments. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those who love to stay active and make a positive impact in children's lives while driving a unique bus. No CDL required as you are never transporting children. Responsibilities Safely operate the mobile gym bus. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with children, parents, and community members in a friendly, professional manner. Assist children on the equipment and ensure they are participating safely. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine safety checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Manage behavior management strategies to ensure a fun yet safe environment onboard. Respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments Skills Proven experience in bus driving, school bus driving, or transit bus operation with knowledge of vehicle codes and commercial driving laws. Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations, traffic laws, and emergency response procedures for transportation. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse communities. Experience working with children, including behavior management and student discipline techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting children or setting up equipment onboard the bus. Quick response skills for traffic changes or emergency situations Familiarity with school policy knowledge, vehicle maintenance routines, and safe driving practices such as defensive driving and emergency stop procedures.
