LeeTran is looking for friendly and responsible bus drivers. You will help people get where they need to go safely. This is a year-round job anticipating 40 hours per week with opportunities for advancement into a full-time position. This job is great for people who like working with the public, enjoy helping others, and can follow rules while staying safe on the road. Duties and Responsibilities What You Will Do Drive passengers safely to pick up and drop off locations, escorting them to and from the vehicle Help passengers with questions and collect fares Make sure the bus is comfortable (heat, air, lighting) Follow ADA rules and help passengers with disabilities, including securing wheelchairs Check your bus and equipment for safety and general maintenance needs Complete daily reports and paperwork Use bus technology like tablets and GPS Do other duties as assigned Education, Experience, Licensing What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED (or similar experience) A valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to pass a Florida DOT Medical Exam and keep a current medical card Pass fingerprint and background checks
