Part-Time School Bus Driver Pay Rate:
Starting at $20.00 per hour (higher rate available based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time School Bus Driver to transport students on our South Side route. This position offers consistent daily hours with opportunities for additional work throughout the school year.
Schedule Approximate daily route times:
Morning:
6:00 AM - 8:00
AM Afternoon:
2:30 PM - 4:30 PM Additional hours may be available for: Early release days (adjusted schedules) Field trips Other transportation needs Route Area South Side route serving areas including: Bartow Mulberry Fort Meade Lake Wales Wahneta Winter Haven Route locations may vary based on student ridership and transportation needs. Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities. Follow all traffic laws, school transportation regulations, and safety procedures. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students, parents, and school staff. Ensure student safety during loading, unloading, and transportation. Qualifications Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Current School Bus Endorsement Clean driving record Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings Strong commitment to student safety and punctuality Benefits & Additional Opportunities Competitive starting pay of $20.00 per hour or more based on experience Opportunities for additional paid hours Extra earning potential through field trip assignments Consistent part-time schedule Join our team and help provide safe, dependable transportation for our students while enjoying a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities for additional income.
