Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, including children, to and from designated locations while ensuring a positive and secure environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle various driving conditions.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and mechanical integrity. Maintain a clean and organized bus interior for the comfort of passengers. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation schedules and any changes. Assist children in boarding and disembarking from the bus, ensuring their safety at all times. Manage behavior on the bus to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all passengers. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with passengers, parents, and school personnel. Experience in school bus driving or paratransit services is preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse populations. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with passengers. Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly valued. Basic mechanical knowledge to identify potential vehicle issues during inspections. Ability to drive safely under various weather conditions while maintaining focus on passenger safety.
