Job Description

Party Bus & Shuttle Driver — Independent Contractor Majestic Transportation is seeking professional and dependable CDL drivers to provide contracted driving services for our party buses and passenger shuttles throughout Louisville and the surrounding areas. Assignments may include weddings, corporate events, bourbon tours, concerts, airport transfers, sporting events, and other special occasions. Most assignments occur during evenings and weekends, with occasional weekday opportunities available. Requirements Valid Class A or Class B CDL Passenger endorsement required Current DOT medical card Acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to meet background-check, drug-testing, and commercial-insurance requirements Knowledge of DOT hours-of-service and passenger-safety regulations Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills Reliable transportation to and from the vehicle's designated location Evening and weekend availability preferred An air-brake endorsement may be required for vehicles equipped with air brakes. Responsibilities Safely operate assigned party buses and passenger shuttles Review trip details and itineraries before each assignment Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Arrive on time and prepared to provide professional service Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and luggage when appropriate Maintain communication during active assignments Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety requirements Report vehicle concerns, delays, accidents, or itinerary changes Return assigned vehicles in a clean and orderly condition Contract Details Independent-contractor opportunity Flexible, assignment-based scheduling Contractors may accept or decline individual assignments Compensation is provided at a predetermined hourly or trip rate Driver gratuities may be available No minimum number of assignments or hours is guaranteed Contractors are responsible for their own federal, state, and local tax obligations Previous experience operating party buses, passenger shuttles, school buses, motorcoaches, or similar commercial vehicles is preferred.
