Job Description

Bus Driver Job Summary The Hingham Public School system is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school. This is a permanent, benefit eligible position. Qualifications Must have a clean driving record Maintain or be able to maintain a CDL License, required. Training available, if needed. Responsibilities Driving students to and from school. Observing all established work practices in accordance with school policies. Complying with all motor vehicle laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Registry of Motor Vehicles, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, School Committee, and local authorities Reporting of all observed student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline problems to your supervisor in a timely manner. Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of vehicles. Maintaining a clean vehicle at all times. Will Cooperate with Bus monitor on behavioural issues.
