Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL School Bus Driver and become a vital part of our logistics network! In this energetic role, you will operate commercial school busses to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety regulations, and exceptional service for our customers. Duties Safely operate school busses across designated routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any mechanical issues promptly Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or unforeseen delays Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience in 72 seats school bus driving. Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation). Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning on over-the-road (OTR) routes Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all traffic laws and trucking regulations
